WeaveSphere Branding and Exploration

Now in its 32nd year, WeaveSphere is a collaboration between IBM Canada’s academic and research technology conference (aka CASCON), and Evoke, Canada’s industry-focused developer conference. In 2019 the organizations merged to pursue the mission of connecting industry professionals withacademia, developers, and students. At WeaveSphere there's a path for everyone.

The goal was to rebrand Cascon X EVOKE’s conference into WeaveSphere. Below are the initial logo options as well as the final chosen logo.
